20 2-yr old Angus 1st calf pair cows & calves:

A very nice set of commercial Angus that were bred AI and cleaned up with top end Gardiner Angus bulls. These bulls rate in the top of the breed in calving ease weaning weight, and yearling weight. The growth EPDs are already showing up in these calves that were born in a 60-day calving window beginning January 10. These calves will wean in excess of 550# off these first calf heifers. They will be exposed back to Gardiner bulls beginning April 18.

This great set of young cows were developed on Buford Ranch and calved as 2-year-olds. The powerful set of calves are sired by an outstanding Polled Hereford Bull. You can already see that these calves will top the market at weaning in just a few months. The cows will be exposed back to Gardiner or Ratcliff Angus bulls beginning April 18.

48 Brangus Heifers - SOLD

48 Brangus heifers to calve with their first calves beginning January 16, 2008 as 2-year olds. These are super nice growthy heifers bred to Gardiner Angus bulls with EPDs for low birth weight, heavy weaning weight, and tremendous yearling weight. Calves born from these Gardiner bulls are small when born but have explosive growth from 30 days on. Heifers were synchronized and mass bull bred and should calve within a tight 60 day period.

These cows began calving January 23, 2006 with their third calf and are four years old. They had their first calf at two years of age and weaned 550# steer calves and 525# heifer calves and all were bred back and calved as a three year old. They are bred or have calved to Gardiner Angus bulls. This is a very strong set of young cows.
